Texas Instruments DLPC3479 DLP Display and Light Controller maintains the reliable operation of a DLP4710 digital micromirror device (DMD) for use in video display and light control applications. The controller interfaces conveniently between user electronics and the DMD to present video and steer light patterns with high speed, precision, and efficiency.

The device is ideal for the following applications: Mobile accessory full HD projector; low-latency gaming and wearable display; 3D depth capture: 3D reconstruction, 3D camera,AR/VR, dental scanner; 3D biometrics: facial and fingerprint recognition; 3D machine vision: robotics, metrology, in-line inspection (AOI); and light exposure: 3D printers, and laser marking.
